Our second Zero to Hero course in Jönköping has officially made rowing history. With over 100 participants now actively learning the sport, this is one of the largest beginner rowing courses ever held in Sweden.
The overwhelming response is a clear sign that interest in rowing is growing rapidly. More and more people are discovering what we’ve known all along — that rowing is not only a highly effective full-body workout, but also a fun, social, and mentally rewarding experience. The chance to train outdoors, on the water, adds a unique and energizing element that sets rowing apart.
The course is currently in full swing, and each session brings with it a mix of teamwork, effort, and shared joy. It’s been inspiring to see participants connect, progress, and embrace the challenges of learning something new together.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jönköpings Roddsällskap for their willingness to invest in something big and for welcoming so many new rowers with open arms. Their commitment to growing the local rowing community is a key part of this success.
We’re excited to follow the journey of these new athletes as they continue to build both confidence and community through the sport of rowing.
